Quick update for you all.

I have had the car running for a few weeks but have suffered a minor/major setback.

I managed to dump a couple liters of oil into the exhaust and the lower charge pipes and cooler.....  I'll be having to get myself a new seal for the turbo as it looks like this one has gone kablooie.

I may get it going again quick or may take this opportunity to see the glass half full and install the MFactory lsd and return to a ZX2 front suspension instead of the mx3.

If I decide to go this route I'll more than likely do a wire tuck, might redo the charge pipes and maf.... IDK as of yet....

lol, you guys crack me up.

Ok ok, I'm not going to say no mods at all.... Just nothing crazy.

Probably won't do much at all....... although I'm already sick of looking at that tractor boot

They are great little cars.

If you don't mod them they are great on gas... or if you mod them for better gas mileage.

I just purchased my second one that I'm using as a Daily Driver.  My other DD broke down and has been put out to pasture or the glue factory (stang).

As Krux said there are some good people here and most, myself included are more than willing to help.

If you ever need any info feel free to hit me up here or send me an email at armiger_dvg@hotmail.com  (Darryl is my name).

Enjoy the boards.

Just a quick update.

The car is basically done (just need to finish the exhaust)

Here is a vid of one of my first start ups.

There is still tuning to do to make it road worthy, and the outside and interior is a long way off but I thought I'd share since I'm happy I didn't blow it up.

Road test #1 coming shortly.

I know the manifold will work....

IDK about the downpipe....

If you're thinking of going turbo you'll probably wind up doing a whole new exhaust

It runs to the passenger cabin wall for the heater.

Honestly,

I wouldn't convert to a 5 lug.... you really wont see any benefit from it besides the lightening of your wallet.

I'd spend the money on a rear disk conversion before upgrading to 5 lug.

I run 75w-90 synthetic gear oil from mobile 1. Great stuff and i think it gives you a better protection. Only thing is if you live in winter it might get a little thick and gel up.

Same here

Welcome!!!

Nice looking 03... I do like the color also.

First thing to do is get rid of the static straps at the back and take some fishing line to the damn dealership logo.... gawd I hate those things...  I've always told dealerships that if they put one on they'll be taking it off before I ever drive it off the lot.
