Last checked 290lbs.  I have put on about 60lbs over the past year and half.  Stress and poor diet.  The poor diet issue has been resloved, but the stress is still there.  Hopefully that will be resloved by the end of next month.

Yes, the stress has an end date, lol.

Red would also be a good selection.  Just don't over do it.  Just enough will do you good like accents.

Will it absolutly destroy my engine?

Is the engine still attached?
Was it from a single or twin turbo setup?

You won't need to concern yourself with the bolt-on. They only free up power that was there in the first place. The only time you have to worry about the programing of the computer is when you change something big, electronicly mostly. Examples: O2 sensors (maybe), MAF (definitely), Cams (possibly) or adding forced insurance.

What idot wrote that?  Forced insurance?  Supid state government.

Congrats on the purchase.  It's a bit different then driving a Civic. Check out the forum, we do have someone people who really know what they are doing.  Of course, if you are unsure about something, ask.  This site is not about hazing, but collective learning.

Hope to see more posts from you.

For the show if you could get something with a huge gas tank that could just cruise at the speed limit the whole way you're pretty unstoppable...

The Super Snake that won this year doesn't get great gas mileage. The Chevy that came in second may have had a big gas tank, but they got lost a lot, which could negate their advantage.

What happened to that Lancer EVO was just DAMN! The fatal last words: "I'm just gonna gun it!"

Problems, Parts and Diagnosis. / Re: alternator and belt ?
« on: May 13, 2009, 07:53:44 PM »
Here is a thought.

If the alternator was good, then the battery would be charged.  If it is charged, even at high RPMs the battery should make up for the power drop from the alternator.

Normally driving conditions means the RPMs should be between 1,500 - 3,000 RPMs.  If the tensioner is doing it's job, you never lose your charge, but if the tensioner does slip at higher RPMs which there is more draw on the battery, then could the battery could die faster.

Another test, would be to turn the car on with the hood up and Rev the car.  You should see belt stop or not, then you have your answer, one way or another.
