I wrote up a tutorial about this. I'll see If I can find it, if its not in the tutorial section.

When I did this to my 03, I did this awhile ago, so I barely remember what she used to drive like before I did it. I remember hearing complaints about when people did this that they would get a hell of a rattle through the steering wheel. I hardly felt the difference. It definately felt like I was getting better power to the wheels.

Nice bike! Dude you should think about putting that metallic blue onto the side of the bike somehow to bring it all together!!! It'll look sweeet either way you do it!

wheres the like button?!??!

Ahh this is not facebook! =) lol! My bad!

Yeah I have had very few problems with my zx2 over the years that I have owned it. My first one kept me from harm in my accident with a bridge as well as my passengers. My second one has kept me better then I have kept her =( but she's still fun and reliable.

Thanks Rob!

He's fine now, a couple days of sitting on the couch. He went to work this morning.  Definately everyone needs to be safe out there riding. I myself have had two accidents, you learn from each one, but theres always the next one that could be the end.

Yikes, I hoped to never see this but My father went down on his bike yesterday. He dropped his bike at the stop sign down the road from my house so there was minimal damage to the bike and to him.

He's okay, pulled hamstring from the weight of the bike and scrambling to get his foot out from underneath it. Apparently his shoe laces got caught around the gear shift and he couldn't get his foot free to put it down on the ground.

For the riders on here, experienced and learning, proper foot wear is essential to your safety and well being on the road. Stay safe out there!

Thanks Krux! Most of the damage was cosmetic, busted the outer / inner fairings, disconnected and broke the headlight / speedometer wiring harness and busted my turn signal. That was about it. I drove it home afterwards. My g/f gave me a piece of the bike as a key chain before we were going out. lol.

zonkers: Farmtowns not that bad. You plant things and 3 days later you can check them and hire people to harvest them.

Ive had 2 bikes over the last 5 years or so... I just got to getting my license this summer.

I had a 2003 Suzuki Katana which I wrecked going around a corner, I hit a patch of sand and last traction after target fixating on the ditch.

I currently have 2006 Yamaha FZ6 (street fighter version of r6) which I hit a deer with. If you want to see there is a video on I did not post it originally but its off me hitting the deer.

That was 2 years ago. I fixed the fairings and have been riding her all this summer.
