Well a week ago I got a new 2007 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V but I had to tradein my ZX2 to do it  :-( I miss it already but it helps that the Nissan has 200 hp and does the 1/4 mile in 15 second flat. It also has all the options including the Helicat limited slip diffential. So here's some pics

The red seat belts are the coolest lol  :-D

ZX2 Discussion / Ford Performance Days
« on: April 27, 2006, 01:18:15 PM »
For anyone interested Ford Performance Days is coming up in July from the 14th to the 16th. It is sponsored by Shelby Owners of America. There is a car show which last year had 2 or 3 real Shelby Cobras and a kit car. They also had a Shelby Seires 1 that had been driven by 50 different big name actors and will also have a new GT on display. They also had a few GT 350's and 500's among lots of other cars and maybe my ZX2 if I get my CF Invader hood by then. Besides the car show there will also be Drag Races, Auto Cross races (one guy had a old late 60's lotas Cortina road racing car which was awsome), Road rally, and a Swap meet. It will be held in Great Bend KS. If you are interested in racing or showing your car you have to pay $20 for Shelby Owners of America Membership or $25 if you regester after 7/6/06. After you register you can put your car in the show for free. Autocross, Drag races, and powder puff races are all $20 for each one you wanna enter and the road rally is $10. All activites will be held at the Expo Building west on 10th ST 4 miles(which is where the Drag strip is and the national guard) in the URL the drag strip is N of the airport on the 3 short roads that come off of 10th street. http://

For anymore Info call Brock McPherson -- 2109 12th St, Great Bend, Ks 67530. Phone (620) 793 3420 Email: Website: www.

I know that probably not many people want to come to Kansas but I would like to meet some of my fellow ZX2 Tuners! If you get the chance to come.

Problems, Parts and Diagnosis. / Focus Cams
« on: February 14, 2006, 09:59:05 AM »
I heard some where that focus cams will fit the zx2. I know the engines are similar but I also know that most of the differences are in the head. Do you guys know for sure if they will fit cause I'd like to get some focus Cosworth cams if they do. If they don't do you guys know how good the Web cams that ZXTuner sell are?

Off-Topic / Civic Owners
« on: February 13, 2006, 10:02:10 PM »
Why are most if not all civic owners such D-Bags. Evey time I see one they rev their engine give me a look and try to take off fast, never happens with other cars. Just last week I was just driving around minding my own buisness then I passed this lowered civic with rims and exhaust on a 4 lane (he was behind slow traffic). The civic sees my car and proceeds to get around the slow traffic pull up beside me at about 45mph and romp on the gas. As usual I just laughed and didn't bother, not only did he have 4 people total in his car he also had dual exaust which I'm pretty sure he was losing power from cause I heard no type of forced induction. I dunno, not to sound like a civic owner but maybe I should start beating all of them and show them what the Z can do.

Visual Modifications / Painted Headlights
« on: February 13, 2006, 08:55:54 PM »
I wanted to get your guys opinion on painted headlights. I was thinking of painting the none clear part body color that goes around the edges and between the headlight and blinker. What do you guys think.

Off-Topic / I GOT ROBBED
« on: February 13, 2006, 08:41:13 PM »
My baby got robbed! They took my bass guitar, effects pedal, sirius radio, and most importantly my $300 G-Tech PRO RR. All together I'm out about $900 but they caught the guy who did it and I'm supposed to get my bass and effects pedal back, but I want my G-Tech  and if I ever see him I have a ballbat in my car he forgot to steal with his name on it!!!!

Just got my lowering kit in and found tokico struts for 137.50 and Eibach springs for 181.50 from a ford dealership!!!!!! address is http:// When I called they said they had 5 sets of Tocikos left so minus mine that makes 4. Not sure about the Eibachs since I didnt order them. They ship fast to. I ordered mine on friday and got them on tuesday.

Brakes/Suspension/Wheels and Tires / Camber kit with S/R Lower?
« on: November 03, 2005, 09:19:13 PM »
For all you guys out their with the S/R lowering kit. Do I need the camber bolt kit or will the stock ones adjust far enough?

Brakes/Suspension/Wheels and Tires / Eibach or Ground Control
« on: October 17, 2005, 07:27:37 PM »
I finally have the money to lower my car and I don't care to much about ride harshness. I know the Eibach/Tokico is an awsome setup but the GC/Tokico sould be nice to (since the GC springs are Eibachs). I also wanna get the Axiom ground effects later on so it would be nice to be adjustable and I dont think the Eibach setup will make my car as low as I want. What do you guys think, I know this question has been asked alot but its not on the new forum so I tought we could get it over with.

Autocross/Road Racing / Auto cross in Selby show!
« on: October 13, 2005, 09:16:53 PM »
A few mounths ago I got to auto cross my 03' ZX2 in the Shelby Auto show in Great Bend Ks. I did pretty well to since about half of the cars were 65'-70' it was pretty easy to bet there times. There was about 20 cars and I finished in the top quarter of the field. I would like to keep auto crossing but tires are gonna get expensive. Anybody know of a good handling car to use in an auto cross besides a ZX2. Ive been trying to fine a S14 body style 240SX to make into an autocross car but haven't had much luck finding one. By the way if you do know of a car it needs to be cheap.

Problems, Parts and Diagnosis. / Focus head on a ZX2?
« on: July 11, 2005, 08:23:45 AM »
Hey I kinda of have a weird question. I was sitting around at work, lol. and I got to thinking about supercharging a ZX2. I know of coarse that nobody makes a supercharger for the ZX2, but they do for the Focus. It won't fit cause our heads have a different bolt patterens for the intake manifold. So my question is can you put a Focus head on a ZX2 since the bottom end is supposed to be the same. I don't know for sure about the bottom end being the same, as I have never checked it out myself but that is what I hear.
