Here is the cardboard box excuse/reply:

Jason,

Well techincally our supplier of boxes, Uline, was out of 375 lb test triple wall boxes, so we had to use what we had. Also have you recieved the instruction packet it was sent by mail seeing it was not placed in with the unit.  Also we would like to aplogise for the delay.  We usually Axiom Automotive in Pittsburgh, PA and they are in the process of being bought out and Ford Motor Company discontinued the selective fit snap rings, so we special ordered them from Mazda.  All in all it was a dissaster lol and we are sorry in the time involved but we hope you will be pleased with its performance.  We do reccomend the use of Mobil synthetic transmission fluid.  Also the biggest reason your unit was late is Robin Reye's antics and health reasons.

Wait- so he's blaming the delay on the guy from TeamZX2 that was having issues with him????

And he's saying that it's everyone's fault but his. That's screwed up.

with it's weight- can a transmission even go in a cardboard box??? Some common sense here... Wow.

The transmission is taking a dump on me, so my car runs like poo. But I'm getting that fixed.

Had the car mostly gutted to finish my custom interior, still working on that. Molding my Buddy Club rear to the rear bumper, then painting the whole thing since it's all black right now. Ripped off the side molding and the Ford badge, need to fill all that up and re-paint the car. Painting my 98 valve cover and finally putting that on. That's just for right now...

Plans before the year is out- Car re-painted white (it's currently white with orange metal flake, with a blue hood and black rear bumper), CF hood, hopefully a CF trunk (but I doubt it), Buddy Club front cut in half and the bottom part molded to my stock 03 front, CF altezza middle reflector for the CF trunk (or a black trunk) and some bronze or black wheels. Then I'll be done for now and happy.  :-D

Left my car club back in Nebraska... Haven't really met up with anyone in Texas. No major travel plans for this year, with all the work being done to my car. But I WILL (along with my whole car club) be at NOPI in Texas next year.

well most ppl know my plans but they got put on hold. the money i put aside 4 paint got used up by the dog. Buddy was eating that bad food that was on the market. We rushed hiom to tyhe vet. the meds alone were over $700 but we cought it early he should make a full recovery.

It was money well spent. He's a part of the family.

Same thing with my dog, but we don't know if he's going to fully recover... He's a lab/corgi mix, and pretty small and the vet thinks he might not fully recover since he's a smaller dog. But he's doing a lot better now and I keep hoping that he'll completely recover. He's been hit by cars 4 times and made it, I'd hate to lose him over bad food...

I'm molding my rear bodykit, looking for a front and sides.
Shaving the Ford emblem from the trunk
Shaving the side moldings
After all that, getting it painted. And I have to go somewhere to get it painted because I have nowhere to do it now that I have an apartment.

My interior is in pieces, figuring out where to paint that at. Might just go out on the deck with a box or something...

Need to find an intake
Need to get new exhaust since all mine rusted and fell off...
Need to paint the 98 valve cover I have because it was polished, then went to crap...

All those plans, and my transmission might have gone out, so I might be doing a MTX swap instead of all the rest...

There's Honda's that have similarly sized front bumpers to the 03 zx2, I was thinking about getting a Honda front lip instead of possibly messing up a WW kit and not having it work...

I'd definitely want the wheels... I'd just have to see how much...

Might be harder than you think Fallen...it appears (and really better be) bolted to the roof.  You could take it off, but would then need to fill the holes and paint it.  Still a very clean 03 with next to no miles on it.  Crazy.

I wouldn't care how much work it would be- an 03 with only 6000 original miles on it... I'd gladly do the work. But it has tan interior... Why do most white ZX2s have tan interior?

It wouldn't be too hard to rip all that out... That thing only has 6000 miles on it! I want.

Looks like he doesn't check this too much... you might want to try the same post on TeamZX2....

the MTX is gone as far as I know

no T-Red parts- most of car is blue, hood is white, passenger door is silver, passenger fender is bright red.

but like I said, I'd really check TeamZX2 cause it doesn't look like this has been touched since June...

a rwd ZX2? Nice. I alctually thought about trying a rwd conversion sometimes in the future but would have had no idea where to start.

they make a RWD/V8 conversion kit for the Focus... I'd start there.
